Are you an experienced HR professional passionate about driving organizational success through people? Hiring.zycto is actively seeking a highly skilled and strategic HR Business Partner to join our dynamic team in CityPlace, Toronto. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to our leadership team, aligning HR strategies with business objectives to foster a high-performance culture.

As an HR Business Partner, you will be instrumental in translating business challenges into HR solutions, navigating complex employee relations, and championing talent development initiatives. You will be responsible for a full spectrum of HR activities, from workforce planning and talent acquisition strategy to performance management, organizational design, and change management. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic HR advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on talent management, organizational design, and change leadership.
  • Partner with management to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support growth and operational effectiveness.
  • Lead and manage complex employee relations issues, providing coaching and counsel to managers and employees.
  • Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and talent calibration.
  • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition and retention strategies in collaboration with the recruiting team.
  • Facilitate organizational development initiatives, including succession planning and career pathing.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, create insights, and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the assigned business units.
  • Support compensation reviews and benefit program administration.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role.
  • Strong understanding of HR functions, best practices, and Canadian employment law (specifically Ontario).
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and data analytics.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CHRP/CHRL designation or equivalent certification.
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a rapidly growing or tech-enabled organization.
  • Proven experience with organizational change management methodologies.
  • Project management skills.
