Key Responsibilities
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and media according to established protocols and scientific requirements.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation to ensure optimal functionality.
- Assist senior researchers with experimental setups, sample preparation, and meticulous data collection.
- Organize and maintain comprehensive laboratory inventory, including chemicals, biological samples, and consumables.
- Perform routine laboratory tasks such as glassware washing, sterilization, and proper waste disposal in accordance with regulations.
- Accurately record and document experimental procedures, results, and observations in laboratory notebooks or electronic systems.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as internal laboratory policies and quality standards.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the laboratory.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and meticulous accuracy in performing laboratory procedures.
- Basic understanding of scientific principles (e.g., chemistry, biology) and fundamental laboratory safety protocols.
- Proficiency in using standard laboratory equipment (e.g., pipettes, centrifuges, pH meters, balances).
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to follow complex written and verbal instructions precisely and consistently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, essential for collaborative teamwork.
