Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing daily classroom activities and lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, reinforcing learning concepts and assisting with assignments.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Supervise students during classroom activities, playtime, lunch, and transitions.
  • Prepare instructional materials, craft supplies, and learning aids as directed by the teacher.
  • Observe and document student progress, behavior, and needs, reporting findings to the lead teacher.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting good behavior and social-emotional development.
  • Communicate effectively with lead teachers, school administration, and parents as needed.
  • Assist students with personal care needs when necessary (e.g., handwashing, toileting support).
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings.

Required Skills
