Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Instructional Designer to join our dynamic, fully remote team. As an integral part of our learning and development department, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative learning solutions that address critical business needs and foster skill enhancement across various internal teams and external client initiatives. This role demands a creative problem-solver with a deep understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design methodologies, and an aptitude for leveraging technology to create engaging and effective educational content.
Working autonomously from your home office, you will be responsible for the full instructional design lifecycle, from initial needs assessment and audience analysis to course development, implementation, and evaluation. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex technical and non-technical information into clear, concise, and compelling learning experiences. This includes developing a wide range of materials such as e-learning modules, virtual instructor-led training (VILT) programs, blended learning solutions, performance support tools, job aids, and interactive simulations. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and audience analyses to identify learning objectives and performance gaps.
- Design and develop engaging, effective, and innovative learning solutions across various modalities (e.g., e-learning, VILT, blended learning, performance support).
- Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather content, ensure accuracy, and validate instructional materials.
- Apply instructional design principles (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theories to create impactful learning experiences.
- Develop detailed storyboards, scripts, visual designs, and interactive elements for learning modules.
- Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate) to build interactive e-learning courses.
- Design and integrate assessment strategies to measure learning effectiveness and provide feedback.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
- Stay current with instructional design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Facilitate pilot programs and gather feedback for continuous improvement of learning solutions.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
- Proven expertise in adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, or Adobe Captivate.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects from conception to completion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and instructional writing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and content deployment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
