Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages following company recipes and quality standards.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting coffee bar area, including cleaning equipment, work surfaces, and customer seating areas.
- Monitor and replenish inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns with patience and professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.
- Educate customers about coffee origins, brewing methods, and different menu items.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in operating espresso machines and grinders, with a solid understanding of coffee preparation techniques.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality beverages.
- Basic math skills and experience handling cash transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of various coffee beans, roast profiles, and brewing methods.
- Experience with latte art.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
