Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of risk data from various internal and external sources.
- Support the development and maintenance of risk registers and databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive risk reports and presentations for management and relevant stakeholders.
- Help identify emerging risks and trends, conducting preliminary research and analysis to assess their potential impact on the business.
- Participate in risk assessment workshops and meetings, providing valuable administrative and analytical support.
- Learn and apply internal risk policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements to daily tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with different departments to gather necessary information and facilitate thorough risk evaluations.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets, risk management principles, or regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or previous work experience (volunteer or paid) in a data-intensive or financial services environment.
- Familiarity with risk management software or GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) platforms.
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis or quantitative methods for risk modeling.
- Knowledge of SQL or other database query languages is a plus.
- Any relevant professional certifications or ongoing studies toward them.
