Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of risk data from various internal and external sources.
  • Support the development and maintenance of risk registers and databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive risk reports and presentations for management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Help identify emerging risks and trends, conducting preliminary research and analysis to assess their potential impact on the business.
  • Participate in risk assessment workshops and meetings, providing valuable administrative and analytical support.
  • Learn and apply internal risk policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements to daily tasks.
  • Collaborate effectively with different departments to gather necessary information and facilitate thorough risk evaluations.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets, risk management principles, or regulatory compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or previous work experience (volunteer or paid) in a data-intensive or financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with risk management software or GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) platforms.
  • Basic understanding of statistical analysis or quantitative methods for risk modeling.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other database query languages is a plus.
  • Any relevant professional certifications or ongoing studies toward them.
