Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup of catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, dishware, and decorations according to event specifications.
- Help with the preparation and plating of food items under the guidance of chefs and catering managers, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner, anticipating needs and responding to requests efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of serving areas, kitchen spaces, and storage areas throughout the event.
- Assist with the breakdown of events, including clearing tables, washing dishes, packing equipment, and transporting items back to the commissary.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- Collaborate effectively with the catering team, kitchen staff, and event managers to ensure seamless event execution.
- Assist in inventory management by reporting low stock or damaged items to supervisors.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
