Job Description
Hiring.zycto is actively seeking dedicated and physically capable individuals to join our team as Moving Helpers – General Labor. This is an excellent opportunity for energetic candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy hands-on work. As a crucial part of our moving crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transport of clients’ belongings from one location to another. Your primary duties will involve loading, unloading, packing, and unpacking items, as well as providing exceptional customer service throughout the moving process.

You’ll work closely with team leaders and other helpers to meticulously protect furniture, appliances, and personal effects, ensuring they arrive at their destination in perfect condition. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items onto and off moving trucks.
- Carefully pack, wrap, and protect items to prevent damage during transit.
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture as required, using appropriate tools.
- Operate moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and ramps with competence.
- Assist in navigating challenging environments like stairs, tight hallways, and varied terrains.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and positive attitude with clients and team members at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients regarding job progress and any issues.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip checks of moving equipment and trucks, reporting any deficiencies.
- Keep moving trucks and equipment clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Required Skills
- Ability to consistently lift and carry heavy items (up to 75 lbs) over extended periods.
- Excellent physical stamina, strength, and agility.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration.
- High level of reliability and punctuality.
- Proactive problem-solving attitude and ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Basic understanding and application of safe lifting and moving techniques.
- Demonstrated customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6+ months) in moving, general labor, warehousing, or a similar physically demanding role.
- Knowledge of proper packing and securing techniques for various household items.
- Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record (considered a strong asset).
- Basic First Aid and/or CPR certification.
- Experience using basic hand tools for furniture assembly/disassembly.
