Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of all youth programs.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor program staff and volunteers, ensuring high-quality program delivery.
- Manage program budgets, secure funding through grants and sponsorships, and ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and parents/guardians.
- Develop and implement robust evaluation frameworks to measure program effectiveness and impact.
- Ensure programs comply with all relevant safety standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a primary advocate for youth within the organization and the broader community.
- Oversee program marketing and outreach efforts to maximize participation and engagement.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in youth program management or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, program development, and budget management.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of youth and adults.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and grant writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and program management software.
- Valid G Class Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education, Social Work, Non-profit Management, or a related field.
- Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds and marginalized youth populations.
- Knowledge of local Toronto youth services and community resources.
- Certifications in First Aid/CPR, crisis intervention, or youth mental health.
- Bilingualism (English and French or other relevant community languages).
