Your role will involve everything from carefully packing and unpacking inventory, organizing our extensive collection of furniture and decor, to hands-on physical labor setting up and dismantling staged homes. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, possesses a strong work ethic, and is capable of lifting and moving items as needed. This position offers a unique chance to gain invaluable experience in design principles, logistics, and client interaction within the competitive Toronto real estate market. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead stagers with the physical setup and breakdown of furniture, art, and accessories in residential properties.
- Carefully pack, load, and unload staging inventory onto company vehicles, ensuring safe transport.
- Organize and maintain the cleanliness and order of the staging warehouse, including inventory management.
- Perform light assembly of furniture and decorative items as required for staging projects.
- Support the design team with inventory selection and preparation for upcoming stagings.
- Maintain professional communication and conduct while representing Hiring.zycto on-site at various properties.
- Adhere strictly to project timelines and safety guidelines during all staging activities.
- Learn and apply fundamental staging techniques and design principles under supervision.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools for furniture assembly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid G Class Driver's License and a clean driving record (strongly preferred).
- Previous experience in a physically demanding role (e.g., moving, retail, warehousing).
- Interest or basic understanding of interior design or home decor trends.
- Enthusiasm for learning about the real estate and home staging industry.
