Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stable home environment for children and young people.
- Meet the physical, emotional, social, and educational needs of the child/young person in your care.
- Work collaboratively with social workers, schools, health professionals, and other relevant agencies.
- Transport children to appointments including medical, therapy, educational, and family visits.
- Encourage educational attainment, support homework, and facilitate participation in extracurricular activities.
- Help children develop essential life skills appropriate to their age and developmental stage.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on the child's progress and well-being.
- Promote and support the child's cultural identity, heritage, and religious beliefs.
