Job Description
Hiring.zycto is actively searching for an exceptional Production Planner – Logistics to bolster our vibrant operations team right here in Toronto. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain master production schedules (MPS) from sales forecasts to meet demand.
- Monitor production, adjusting schedules for demand changes, material availability, or capacity.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely raw material availability, preventing delays.
- Manage inventory levels (raw, WIP, finished goods) to optimize capital and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehousing for efficient material flow and storage.
- Identify and resolve production/logistics bottlenecks, implementing improvements.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems for planning, scheduling, and data accuracy.
- Analyze supply chain data, forecast demands, and recommend process enhancements.
- Participate in S&OP meetings, providing insights on production and logistics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and quality standards.
Required Skills
- 4+ years in production planning, inventory management, or supply chain.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
- Advanced Excel for data analysis.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain principles.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with distribution and transportation planning concepts.
