Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor nuclear reactors, turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems from control rooms and local panels.
- Respond to alarms and abnormal operating conditions promptly and effectively, initiating corrective actions as per procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections, surveillance, and tests of plant equipment and systems.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, operating licenses, and environmental protection standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and health physics teams to optimize plant performance and safety.
- Maintain accurate operational logs, records, and reports.
- Participate actively in ongoing training programs, including simulator exercises and emergency drills.
- Implement and follow lockout/tagout procedures for equipment isolation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
Required Skills
