Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial statements.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning, providing insightful analysis to support executive decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance, identifying trends and recommending actions to optimize financial health.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international financial regulations, tax requirements, and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Lead and mentor junior finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the remote team.
- Collaborate with department heads to manage their budgets, providing financial guidance and support.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
- Support external audits and work with auditors to ensure clean and timely audit reports.
Required Skills
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or equivalent international certification).
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar senior financial role for at least 6 years.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Expert knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial regulations.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Xero).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a remote work environment.
