Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor for an immediate start in Brentwood, Calgary. This pivotal full-time role involves overseeing and leading our cleaning teams to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various client facilities. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for the efficient execution of daily cleaning operations, staff supervision, and ensuring strict adherence to health and safety protocols. We require a proactive individual with exceptional leadership qualities, a sharp eye for detail, and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive work environment. Your ability to train, motivate, and manage staff effectively will be crucial to our success and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
- Develop and implement daily/weekly cleaning schedules and assignments.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections and enforce cleaning protocols.
- Train new personnel on procedures, techniques, and safety standards (including WHMIS).
- Manage cleaning supply inventory and equipment maintenance.
- Address client feedback and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Motivate, coach, and evaluate team performance.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and company regulations.
- Prepare and submit operational reports and documentation.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in the cleaning industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations (e.g., WHMIS).
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively train, manage, and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a proven commitment to quality service.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma; post-secondary education an asset.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license for potential site travel.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning software.
