Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties, ensuring optimal performance and tenant satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular property inspections, identifying and addressing maintenance needs proactively.
  • Oversee and coordinate all repair and maintenance activities with approved contractors, ensuring high standards and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage tenant relationships, including handling inquiries, complaints, and lease renewals with professionalism.
  • Prepare and manage property budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure timely rent collection.
  • Administer lease agreements, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions by both tenants and landlords.
  • Ensure all properties comply with relevant health & safety legislation and industry regulations.
  • Conduct move-in and move-out inspections, managing deposit returns and handling any dilapidation claims.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date property records, financial statements, and administrative documentation.
  • Provide regular reports to property owners on portfolio performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Property Manager in London.
  • Solid understanding of UK property law, landlord & tenant legislation, and health & safety regulations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in property management software (e.g., MRI, Yardi, Re-Leased) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial reporting effectively.
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle (preferred for site visits).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ARLA Propertymark, RICS).
  • Experience with both residential and commercial property portfolios.
  • Knowledge of local London property market trends and contractor networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
