As the Entertainment Director, you will be the creative architect behind all entertainment initiatives, responsible for the end-to-end conceptualization, meticulous planning, and flawless execution of a broad spectrum of activities that cater to a diverse guest demographic. This comprehensive leadership includes talent scouting, managing performers, activity coordinators, technical staff, and ensuring seamless operational flow and outstanding guest interaction across all events. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive entertainment program for all resort guests.
  • Lead, train, and supervise the entertainment team, including performers, technicians, and activity coordinators.
  • Manage entertainment budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Scout, audition, and contract external talent, artists, and vendors.
  • Oversee the technical setup and execution of all shows and events (lighting, sound, staging).
  • Ensure all entertainment activities comply with safety regulations and resort standards.
  • Collect and analyze guest feedback to continuously improve and innovate entertainment offerings.
  • Collaborate with marketing and F&B departments to promote events and create themed experiences.
  • Schedule and coordinate daily, weekly, and special event programs.
  • Maintain inventory of entertainment equipment and facilitate necessary repairs or upgrades.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in entertainment management, preferably within a resort or cruise line setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Budget management and negotiation expertise.
  • Creative vision and ability to conceptualize innovative entertainment concepts.
  • Proficiency in event production and technical aspects (sound, lighting).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Arts Management, Event Planning, or a related field.
  • Additional language proficiency (e.g., French, Spanish).
  • Experience with international talent acquisition and cultural programming.
  • Knowledge of current trends in resort entertainment and guest engagement.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR.
