Key Responsibilities
- Learn and apply various surface preparation techniques including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
- Assist in the setup and operation of spray painting equipment and booths.
- Undergo comprehensive training in mixing and matching paints, primers, and clearcoats.
- Safely apply coatings to various surfaces following company standards and client specifications.
- Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring adherence to aesthetic and durability requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and spray booths.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and hazardous material handling.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance painting skills and knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and challenges.
- Assist with other general shop duties as assigned to support overall operations.
