Key Responsibilities
- Generate a high volume of creative concepts for characters, environments, props, and visual effects based on project briefs.
- Collaborate with art directors and senior artists to understand project vision and art style guidelines.
- Produce sketches, mood paintings, and detailed illustrations that effectively communicate visual ideas.
- Iterate on designs quickly based on feedback from the creative team.
- Maintain organized files and adhere to naming conventions and workflow best practices.
- Actively participate in critiques and contribute to a positive, collaborative team atmosphere.
- Continuously research and gather visual reference materials to inspire and inform designs.
- Assist in maintaining consistency of visual style across various project assets.
- Learn and adapt to new software, tools, and techniques as required.
Required Skills
- Strong foundational understanding of drawing, perspective, anatomy, color theory, and composition.
- Proficiency in digital painting software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, Krita).
- Ability to communicate ideas visually through sketching and rendering.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating artistic potential and a passion for concept art.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and receive constructive feedback.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Illustration, Game Art, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Experience with traditional art mediums in addition to digital.
- Understanding of various art styles and ability to adapt to different aesthetic directions.
- Prior experience with collaborative art pipelines (e.g., version control software).
