Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome patients and visitors, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Efficiently schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the clinic's calendar.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members.
  • Register new patients and update existing patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Process patient payments and manage basic billing inquiries.
  • Maintain the reception area's cleanliness and organization.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and faxes.
  • Scan and file patient documents accurately and confidentially.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Adhere to patient confidentiality and privacy regulations (e.g., PHIPA).
