Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the accurate and timely processing of weekly and monthly payrolls.
  • Learn to manage employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes to salaries or personal information.
  • Support the team in calculating and processing statutory deductions such as PAYE, National Insurance, and pensions.
  • Help respond to employee queries regarding payroll matters, providing clear and helpful information.
  • Contribute to maintaining organized and confidential payroll records.
  • Develop an understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end payroll procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with the wider HR and finance teams.
