Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior engineers in the design, development, and optimization of chemical processes and equipment.
  • Conduct experiments, collect data, and analyze results to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and process documentation.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts for operational issues and equipment malfunctions.
  • Participate in pilot plant trials and scale-up activities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and hazard analysis studies.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies, materials, and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Solid understanding of chemical engineering principles (thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat/mass transfer).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and technical report writing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or co-op experience in a chemical processing or manufacturing environment.
