Key Responsibilities
- Sort and prepare mail, parcels, and packages for delivery along specific routes.
- Deliver mail and parcels accurately and efficiently to residential and business addresses on foot and/or by company vehicle.
- Follow designated delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve delivery-related issues professionally.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good working order of company vehicles and equipment.
- Accurately complete delivery manifests and other administrative tasks as required.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure overall operational success.
Required Skills
- Excellent physical fitness and stamina to walk extended distances and lift mailbags/parcels.
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good observational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Full, clean UK Driving License (manual transmission) for at least 12 months.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role.
- Knowledge of Belfast city streets and surrounding areas.
