Job Description
Hiring.zycto is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Developer to join our innovative technology team. This full-time, on-site role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining robust Oracle database solutions that power our critical business applications. As an Oracle Developer, you will be instrumental in the full software development lifecycle, from initial requirement gathering and system design to implementation, testing, and ongoing support.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to translate complex business needs into efficient and effective database solutions. Your responsibilities will extend beyond pure coding to include performance tuning, data modeling, schema design, and ensuring the integrity and security of our data assets. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Perform database schema design, data modeling, and data architecture to support new and existing applications.
- Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for maximum performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of database solutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing Oracle databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database designs, procedures, and test plans.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for production database systems, including issue resolution.
- Stay abreast of new Oracle technologies and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL development
- Expertise in SQL query writing and optimization
- Strong understanding of Oracle Database architecture (12c, 19c or higher)
- Experience with database design, data modeling, and normalization techniques
- Familiarity with performance tuning tools and methodologies
- Experience using Oracle SQL Developer or similar IDEs
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or other relevant certifications
- Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports
- Knowledge of Oracle APEX development
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud platforms
