Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Automation Engineer to join our fully remote team. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust automation frameworks and test suites.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality and rapid feedback.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify automation opportunities and define test strategies.
  • Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure best practices in automation.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues related to automation infrastructure and test failures.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in automation and propose their adoption.
  • Document automation processes, strategies, and results thoroughly.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in automation engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Extensive experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework).
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Experience with API automation tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
