As a Framing Laborer, you will be an integral part of our dynamic crew, supporting skilled carpenters and contributing to the structural integrity of residential and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled carpenters and other team members with various framing tasks.
  • Safely load, unload, and transport building materials such as lumber, plywood, and tools across job sites.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, debris removal, and proper tool storage.
  • Learn to identify and use various hand and power tools under supervision.
  • Support in measuring, cutting, and assembling framing components according to instructions and blueprints.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Prepare work areas, which may include setting up scaffolding, bracing, and temporary structures.
  • Perform general labour duties as assigned, contributing to the efficient flow of the construction project.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new skills and techniques from experienced crew members.

  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid G driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Basic understanding or familiarity with common construction tools (e.g., tape measure, hammer) from personal projects.
  • Prior completion of safety training programs like WHMIS or working at heights (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
  • Experience working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
