As a Framing Laborer, you will be an integral part of our dynamic crew, supporting skilled carpenters and contributing to the structural integrity of residential and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled carpenters and other team members with various framing tasks.
- Safely load, unload, and transport building materials such as lumber, plywood, and tools across job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, debris removal, and proper tool storage.
- Learn to identify and use various hand and power tools under supervision.
- Support in measuring, cutting, and assembling framing components according to instructions and blueprints.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Prepare work areas, which may include setting up scaffolding, bracing, and temporary structures.
- Perform general labour duties as assigned, contributing to the efficient flow of the construction project.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new skills and techniques from experienced crew members.

- Valid G driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

- Prior completion of safety training programs like WHMIS or working at heights (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Experience working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
