Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior line cooks and chefs with food preparation, including washing, chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
- Learn and execute various cooking methods (grilling, sautéing, frying, roasting) as instructed, maintaining consistent food quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift, adhering to all sanitation and food safety standards.
- Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to the kitchen manager or head chef.
- Support dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning duties as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding food handling, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
- Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and storage of ingredients.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations or strong desire to learn.
