Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in a structured training program to learn CNC machine operation, setup, and maintenance.
- Learn to read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Gain proficiency in basic G-code and M-code programming for CNC mills and lathes.
- Assist experienced machinists in loading and unloading materials, fixtures, and tooling.
- Develop skills in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality control.
- Understand and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures within the machine shop environment.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance tasks.
- Document work processes, quality checks, and production data accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and mentors to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
