Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify suitable grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
- Develop and write compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, concept papers, and other fundraising materials.
- Collaborate closely with clients to gather necessary information, program data, and budgetary details for proposals.
- Manage grant application processes from start to finish, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines and submission guidelines.
- Maintain a comprehensive grant calendar and tracking system for all proposals, awards, and reporting requirements.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely grant reports, ensuring compliance with funder stipulations.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay informed about current funding trends, philanthropic best practices, and relevant policy changes.
- Contribute to the development of grant writing strategies and best practices within Hiring.zycto.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional grant writing experience with a demonstrated track record of success.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on persuasive and concise writing.
- Strong research and analytical abilities to identify relevant funding opportunities and gather necessary data.
- Proficiency in crafting compelling narratives that align with funder priorities and client missions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of common grant application platforms and online submission processes.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
