Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor various machinery involved in lumber processing, under direct supervision and after receiving proper training.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of timber and lumber products using forklifts or other material handling equipment, once certified.
  • Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products, identifying and reporting defects or inconsistencies.
  • Perform general clean-up duties to maintain a safe and organized work environment, including clearing sawdust and debris.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Learn and apply standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all assigned tasks and equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or production issues promptly to supervisors.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
