Hiring.zycto is actively seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented Bid Manager to join our growing team in Fennwood Hills, Zachary. This critical role is at the heart of our business development efforts, responsible for leading and coordinating the entire bid lifecycle from initial opportunity assessment through to final submission and post-bid review. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire bid lifecycle from qualification to submission, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Develop a comprehensive bid plan, outlining key milestones, resource allocation, and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with sales, technical, legal, and finance teams to gather content, validate information, and define win themes.
- Write, edit, and proofread bid responses, ensuring clarity, accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client requirements.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and incorporate mitigation strategies into bid proposals.
- Facilitate internal bid review meetings, incorporating feedback and ensuring continuous improvement.
- Maintain a library of reusable bid content and best practices for future proposals.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bid Manager or similar role in a B2B environment.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids concurrently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including persuasive writing and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and bid management software.
- In-depth understanding of procurement processes and tender requirements.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
