Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled maintenance staff with routine repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, common areas, and hotel facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform minor repairs on plumbing fixtures, electrical switches, lighting, and general hotel equipment.
- Help with painting, drywall repair, and other cosmetic maintenance work as required.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, escalating complex issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and maintenance supply rooms.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, using personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
- Assist with moving furniture, equipment, or supplies as needed.
- Learn and apply best practices for energy conservation and sustainable maintenance operations.
- Support groundskeeping and exterior maintenance tasks during appropriate seasons.
