Job Description

Hiring.zycto is actively seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Banquet Setup Staff for various event venues across South Riverdale, Toronto. Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and accurately set up banquet rooms according to event floor plans and client specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, dishware, and centerpieces.
  • Transport and arrange equipment such as staging, dance floors, audiovisual equipment (basic setup), and décor elements.
  • Ensure all setup is completed to the highest standards of presentation and safety before guests arrive.
  • Collaborate effectively with event managers, catering staff, and other team members to ensure smooth event flow and timely transitions.
  • Assist with breakdown and clean-up after events, including clearing tables, dismantling setups, and preparing equipment for storage.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to requests from event staff and supervisors.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
