Job Description
Hiring.zycto is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Immigration Consultant to join our growing team in Saint John, New Brunswick. This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive immigration advice and representation to clients navigating various Canadian immigration pathways, including temporary residence (visitor visas, study permits, work permits), permanent residence (Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs, Family Sponsorship), and citizenship applications. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through complex legal processes, ensuring compliance with current immigration laws and policies.
As an Immigration Consultant, you will manage a diverse portfolio of cases from initial consultation to final decision. Your expertise will directly impact individuals and families aspiring to live, work, and study in Canada. We are looking for a professional who possesses an in-depth understanding of Canadian immigration regulations, exceptional analytical skills, and a genuine passion for assisting clients. You will be expected to stay updated on changes to immigration legislation, interpret policies accurately, and develop strategic solutions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial consultations to assess client eligibility and recommend appropriate immigration programs.
- Prepare, review, and submit various immigration applications to IRCC, ESDC, and provincial nomination programs.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on Canadian immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
- Represent clients in dealings with immigration authorities and respond to requests for additional information.
- Maintain meticulous and up-to-date client files and case management records.
- Stay current with changes in Canadian immigration legislation, policies, and program requirements.
- Develop tailored immigration strategies to address unique client situations and challenges.
- Assist clients with pre-arrival and post-arrival services as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service delivery.
- Ensure strict adherence to ethical guidelines and professional standards established by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).
Required Skills
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) as an RCIC.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience as an Immigration Consultant.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Canadian immigration law, policies, and procedures across various streams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and client confidentiality.
- Proficiency in immigration case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in French (both written and spoken) is a significant asset.
- Experience with provincial nominee programs, especially those in Atlantic Canada.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced legal or consulting environment.
- A Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field.
