Hiring.zycto is actively seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team and provide exceptional, client-centered care. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, including standardized tests and clinical observations, to identify client needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, client goals, and evidence-based practices.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, adaptive equipment recommendations, and environmental modifications to enhance functional independence.
  • Educate clients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive strategies, and home exercise programs.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated care.
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards set by the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program.
  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and rapport-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload independently.
  • Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for potential community visits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with diverse populations (e.g., neurological, orthopedic, geriatric, pediatric).
  • Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., hand therapy, seating and mobility, cognitive rehabilitation).
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Experience in a community-based rehabilitation setting.
