Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all provided training programs and mentorship sessions.
  • Assist senior mechanics in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical failures in industrial equipment.
  • Learn and apply preventative maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and extend machinery lifespan.
  • Under supervision, perform routine inspections, lubrication, and adjustments on a variety of machines.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Help disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery components, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyor systems.
  • Utilize technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams to understand equipment specifications and maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, properly storing tools and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments regarding maintenance activities and issues.
  • Document maintenance and repair activities accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
