Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional assessments to diagnose conditions and determine patient needs.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques (e.g., manual therapy, exercise prescription, modalities).
- Educate patients and their families on their condition, prognosis, treatment goals, and self-management strategies.
- Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and document all assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, chiropractors, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment in compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage a diverse patient caseload, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling and treatment delivery.
Required Skills
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physiotherapist, preferably in a private practice setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and caseload management.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced certifications in specific areas such as manual therapy, acupuncture, dry needling, or concussion management.
- Experience with various EMR systems for charting and scheduling.
- A background in treating diverse patient populations, including sports injuries, geriatrics, or pediatric care.
