Hiring.zycto is actively seeking motivated and diligent Road Construction Workers to join our dedicated team in Villeray, Montreal. Key Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation, paving, grading, and compacting of asphalt and other road surfaces.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, including gravel, sand, and asphalt.
- Set up and dismantle traffic control devices, ensuring safe passage for vehicles and pedestrians around work zones.
- Perform general labor duties such as digging, trenching, raking, and shoveling.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and provincial regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Support heavy equipment operators and skilled tradespeople as required.
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Required Skills
- Proven physical stamina and strength for demanding manual labor.
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices and procedures.
