Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough physical assessments and evaluations to diagnose musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical impairments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and evidence-based practices.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and patient education.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all interactions and outcomes accurately.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and home exercise programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy advancements and participate in continuing professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with all professional standards, ethical guidelines, and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Full registration and good standing with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Proven experience in patient assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with patients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tailor effective treatment strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in documenting patient care and managing caseloads efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialized certifications in areas such as manual therapy, sports therapy, or neurological rehabilitation.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
  • Experience mentoring junior therapists or students.
