Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical assessments and evaluations to diagnose musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical impairments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and evidence-based practices.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and patient education.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all interactions and outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy advancements and participate in continuing professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all professional standards, ethical guidelines, and company policies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Full registration and good standing with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Proven experience in patient assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with patients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tailor effective treatment strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
