Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.
- Answer telephone calls, screen and direct enquiries, and take accurate messages.
- Register new patients and update existing patient demographic information accurately.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times, adhering to GDPR and healthcare regulations.
- Process patient payments and manage basic financial transactions.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and external healthcare providers.
