Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior Preconstruction Managers with quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and budget development for various project phases.
- Support the preparation of comprehensive bid packages, including scope documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct research on material costs, labor rates, and subcontractor pricing to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
- Participate in project scope reviews, constructability analyses, and value engineering discussions.
- Help maintain and update a database of historical cost data and market trends.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and vendors to gather necessary information for pricing and scheduling.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements and site conditions.
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules and timelines during the preconstruction phase.
- Contribute to the review and analysis of subcontractor and vendor proposals.
- Learn and utilize industry-standard estimating and project management software.
Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in British Columbia.
