Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the implementation, integration, and optimization of various educational technology platforms and tools.
  • Provide technical support and training to educators and learners on the effective use of EdTech resources, ensuring smooth operation and maximizing engagement.
  • Develop and deliver workshops, webinars, and online resources to enhance digital literacy and promote innovative teaching and learning strategies.
  • Evaluate emerging EdTech trends, tools, and platforms, making recommendations for adoption based on pedagogical value and organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with content developers and instructional designers to ensure technology is seamlessly integrated into curriculum and course materials.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to EdTech platforms and liaise with vendors for advanced support.
  • Maintain documentation for EdTech systems, procedures, and training materials.
  • Act as a project lead for new EdTech initiatives, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholders.
  • Foster a vibrant online community of practice for educators to share best practices and insights on EdTech.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and accessibility standards for all implemented technologies.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an EdTech Coordinator, Instructional Technology Specialist, or similar role.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, or Google Classroom.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to conduct effective virtual training and support sessions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience with K-12 and/or higher education settings.
  • Familiarity with various educational software applications (e.g., video conferencing tools, collaborative platforms, assessment tools).
  • Certifications in specific EdTech platforms or instructional design.
  • Experience with data analytics to assess the impact of EdTech initiatives.
