Key Responsibilities
- Manage guest arrivals and departures during overnight hours, including check-ins and check-outs.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously.
- Conduct regular security patrols of the hotel premises, monitoring CCTV and ensuring the safety and security of guests and property.
- Handle emergency situations, such as fire alarms or medical incidents, following established hotel protocols and liaising with emergency services when necessary.
- Prepare and set up breakfast areas or conference rooms as required for the morning shift.
- Assist with light cleaning and general upkeep of public areas to maintain high standards of presentation.
- Process payments, manage cash float, and accurately complete all necessary administrative paperwork and reports.
- Communicate effectively with the incoming morning shift, providing detailed handovers of all overnight activities and incidents.
- Attend to luggage assistance for guests and transport goods as needed.
- Ensure all doors and windows are secure and conduct lock-up procedures according to hotel policy.
Required Skills
- Proven customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during overnight shifts.

- Basic computer literacy for check-in/out systems and administrative tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Night Porter or in a similar overnight hotel role.
- First Aid and/or Fire Marshal certification.
