Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and adjust packaging machinery according to production specifications and safety guidelines.
- Perform routine quality checks on packaged products, ensuring they meet company standards and client requirements.
- Load raw materials and packaging components onto production lines.
- Monitor inventory levels of packaging materials and report shortages.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations.
- Complete production logs and documentation accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
- Identify and report any production or quality discrepancies to senior staff.
- Assist with changeovers and setups of production lines as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Packaging Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot packaging machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Excellent understanding of health and safety procedures in a factory setting.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for record-keeping.
