You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial requisition to successful offer negotiation and onboarding. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for highly specialized technical roles, from job requisition to offer acceptance.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and client stakeholders to understand technical requirements, team needs, and cultural fit.
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive technical candidates through various platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, networking events, etc.).
- Conduct thorough phone screens and interviews to assess technical competencies, experience, motivation, and cultural alignment.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring clear communication, timely feedback, and professional interactions throughout the recruitment journey.
- Negotiate complex offers, manage candidate expectations, and facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
- Utilize and optimize our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for candidate management, reporting, and data integrity.
- Stay informed of industry trends, market intelligence, and best practices in technical recruitment.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing efforts.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of dedicated full-cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably in an agency or fast-paced in-house environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in sourcing passive candidates using advanced techniques (Boolean search, X-ray search, etc.).
- Strong understanding of various technical stacks, programming languages, and engineering methodologies (e.g., modern web frameworks, cloud technologies, AI/ML, data science, DevOps).
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM tools.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, target-driven environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience recruiting for high-growth tech startups or scale-ups.
- Certifications in recruitment or HR disciplines.
- Familiarity with the Vancouver tech market.
