Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Federal Government Analyst to join our dedicated team in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. As a Federal Government Analyst, you will be instrumental in conducting in-depth research, analyzing complex data sets, and providing actionable insights that inform policy development, program evaluation, and decision-making within the federal sphere.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve diving deep into government policies, regulations, and public data to identify trends, potential impacts, and areas for improvement. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement analytical models and tools to support program evaluation and performance measurement.

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and diverse audiences in a clear and compelling manner.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a research, analysis, or policy development role, preferably within a government or public sector context.
  • Proven ability to conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian federal government structure, policy cycles, and decision-making processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS).
