Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with Hiring.zycto's overall business objectives and growth plans.
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment support, comprehensive onboarding, performance management, compensation, benefits administration, and offboarding.
- Oversee and optimize daily HR operations, ensuring full compliance with Canadian employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Partner strategically with leadership to identify current and future talent needs, developing robust talent acquisition and retention strategies specific to the tech industry.
- Design, implement, and analyze employee engagement programs and initiatives to foster a positive, productive, and inclusive company culture.
- Lead and administer performance management cycles, including goal setting, regular reviews, feedback mechanisms, and professional development planning.
- Manage and administer all employee benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, and high employee satisfaction.
- Provide expert guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related issues, policies, procedures, and conflict resolution.
- Utilize HR analytics and data-driven insights to inform decision-making, measure the effectiveness of HR programs, and identify areas for improvement.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives throughout the organization, embedding DEI principles into all people practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a People Operations Manager, HR Manager, or similar HR leadership role, preferably within a fast-paced tech or high-growth environment.
- Strong understanding of Canadian (specifically British Columbia) employment law and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and scale efficient HR processes and systems.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms and modern HR technology solutions.
- Strategic thinking combined with a meticulous operational mindset and strong project management abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources) designation or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience managing HR functions within a global or multi-location workforce.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and their application to people management in tech companies.
- Demonstrated experience in scaling HR functions from a startup phase to a more mature growth stage.
