Hiring.zycto is on the lookout for a diligent and highly organised Warehouse Admin Assistant with a keen eye for stock control to join our bustling Hunslet, Leeds facility. Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage all incoming and outgoing goods documentation, including delivery notes and manifests.
- Maintain accurate stock records using the company’s Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile any discrepancies, investigating root causes.
- Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments regarding deliveries and dispatches.
- Prepare dispatch documentation, shipping labels, and customs paperwork as required.
- Assist with the coordination of warehouse activities, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Generate inventory reports and provide data analysis to support management decisions.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the administrative function.
- Support the administrative needs of the warehouse team, including filing and data entry.
- Identify and implement process improvements for stock control and administrative tasks.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a warehouse administration or stock control role.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach to challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with a specific WMS (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
