Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Information Technology Manager to lead our IT department. This pivotal role will oversee all aspects of our technology infrastructure, systems, and services, ensuring seamless operations, robust security, and alignment with our organizational goals. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT systems while managing a dedicated team of IT professionals. You will be instrumental in developing and executing an IT strategy that supports our growth, optimizes efficiency, and ensures our technology remains at the forefront of innovation.

Your day-to-day will involve a blend of strategic planning, team leadership, project management, and hands-on problem-solving. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage IT strategies, policies, and procedures that align with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, including network infrastructure, servers, workstations, and telecommunications systems.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Manage IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet specified requirements.
  • Ensure the security, integrity, and privacy of all organizational data and IT systems through the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures.
  • Manage IT vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to staff, resolving complex IT issues and ensuring high levels of user satisfaction.
  • Manage the IT budget, monitor expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for their integration into existing systems to enhance productivity and capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure minimal disruption in the event of unforeseen incidents.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in IT management, including experience leading a team.
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi), server administration (Windows Server, virtualization), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Expertise in cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection).
  • Proficiency in managing IT projects using methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA with a focus on IT Management).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, MCSE).
  • Experience with enterprise-level ERP systems and CRM platforms.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience in a fast-paced or rapidly growing organization.
