Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily care and supervision of infants and young children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Support children's learning and development through planned activities, play, and observation, following early years framework.
  • Help to maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating nursery environment.
  • Assist with meal times, nap times, and personal care routines such as changing diapers and toileting.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Observe and report any concerns regarding a child's development, health, or welfare to senior staff.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development.
  • Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures, including health and safety, safeguarding, and equal opportunities.
